This excellent Liu Bao has been expertly aged in Hong Kong storage since 2007. As we know, a little humidity in the aging process goes a long way in transforming Liu Bao into something special! The brick is heavy and dense with a pronounced aroma of baked beets and good, clean earth. The tea soup is slippery with a 'juicy' and mouthwatering feel, and is exceptionally clean in taste with a light burgundy amber color. Classic betelnut and Chinese date notes are highlighted with a subtle but rich sweetness that permeates the tongue. Made from grade 3 leaves with some stems.
