2018 Ba Da He Song Old Arbor Sheng Puerh - 2 oz
This cake is made from old arbor materials from Ba Da, Menghai region. It brews up a crisp sheng with a strong Ku (bitterness) and fast, minty hui gan. Notes of citrus peel, minerals, light honeysuckle are consistent throughout, and a growing sweetness with every infusion. A very nice refreshing, somewhat austere tea - I would liken it to a Sancerre if teas were like wine. Great for Spring and Summer - very cooling and has an expansive cha qi.
2016 Mengsong Shan Bamboo Cured Sheng Puerh - 2 oz
This special raw puerh is made from Autumn harvest Mengsong old tree material and prepared in a traditional Dai fashion by steaming fresh leaf, packing it into hollow bamboo tubes and roasted over a fire. The soup is rich, sweet and full bodied characteristic of Fall puerh teas, with nice floral and light tobacco notes.

2014 DA XUE SHAN GU SHU Sheng Puerh - 2 oz
This is an impeccably clean, well crafted, immensely flavorful, single estate sheng pu from 100 year old trees in Big Snow Mountain area of Mengku, Lincang Prefecture. The dry leaf is large and fresh with aromas of fruit and flowers emanating from the cake. Once rinsed, inviting notes of orchid, apricot and dry tobacco meet the nose. The tea soup is thick and full, with delightful layers of stone fruit, sweet almond, honey, hops and buttery dandelion, and a strong hui gan / sensation that lingers in the mouth and throat. The cha qi or tea energy is potent and stimulating to say the least. This is a big tea for major teas sessions.

A fantastic wild purple sheng puerh made from hand picked leaves of the primeval Yesheng varietal, aka Camellia sinensis var Assamica Kitam that grows deep in the forests of Yunnan, China. This is truly Ancestral tea! Naturally purple in color, it is rich in antioxidants and catechins and has a potent Cha Chi or "Tea Energy" that may be felt throughout the body when drinking.The tea soup is complex, rich and bright with some "jungle fruit" notes.

This gu hua (Autumn flush), old tree cake from Manluo Tea Factory is from one of the Six Famous Tea Mountains of Yibang, or Wood Clapper Mounatin in Mengla County, Xishuangbanna. Its rich, thick-in-the-mouth, sweet, aromatic, buttery olive notes, and potent cha qi make it one of our favorites.

Brews up a light, fragrant, soft textured soup with notes of tobacco, freesia, blackberry, nectar and hint of medicinal taste that lingers. This is a lovely semi-aged mao cha (raw puerh leaf) made of hand picked leaves from old arbor trees in Mahei Village, Yiwu. Pure Yiwu sweetness with dried fruit (apricot and raisin), floral (violet) and honey butter notes. So clean and soothing - a very beautiful tea.
2007 Bo Nan Shan Sheng Puerh - 2 oz
This is a wonderful Spring harvest, semi-aged raw puerh from Bao Shan, Yunnan China. Aged in Lincang for several years gave it a touch of the 'wet storage' which accelerated the natural fermentation process yet it remains crystal clean in flavor and clarity. Complex and layered with notes of dried fruits (apricots and dates), flowers and chenpi (aged orange peel) and minerals with an underlying woodsy, refreshing bittersweet character. So delicious!
